Owner Self-Certification Notice for Collection of Diversity & Inclusion Information

Marriott values all our trusted owners and we remain committed to providing equitable opportunity to all partners. We are seeking to collect information from owners in order to further our goals of promoting diversity and inclusion.

We invite you to provide certain categories of personal information, such as gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability status, and military and veteran status. Self-identification diversity data may be used by Marriott to comply with legal obligations and internal policies relating to diversity and anti-discrimination such as to: (1) track diverse representation for purposes of developing and informing diversity and inclusion related strategies; (2) assess and expand enterprise resources and offerings to ensure they are sufficiently inclusive of the needs of all owners; and (3) present our diverse representation to potential owners or customers to help them develop and monitor diversity and inclusion related strategies.

Access to diversity data at the individual level is restricted to select members of the Lodging Development support team. Aggregated data may be otherwise shared internally and with third parties outside of Marriott

Self-identifying (or choosing not to self-identify) is purely voluntary. Individuals who elect not to self –identify, however, will not be considered for programs that utilize diversity information
